Marion Release Contacts

This is a private reference, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or retrieve an official record. Contact the responsible public office directly.

Local Jail and Records

For current local jail custody, call MCCC and choose the inmate-information option. For a past exit, ask the commission who holds its booking and release records. The Marion County Sheriff's records office accepts oral, written, and online requests for records it maintains.

Courts and Supervision

A court order explains the authority for release, while the custodian's record establishes the physical exit. Marion Municipal Court handles local misdemeanor, bond, and preliminary matters. Common Pleas records cover felony dispositions and judicial release. Call before visiting because Municipal's published Friday closing information conflicts across its own pages.

State Records and Notifications

For an Ohio prison sentence, correction, computation, release certificate, supervision start or final discharge, identify the ODRC number before contacting Central Records. Ohio VINE provides notification support but cannot replace a custodian's release record.
